True Runner 101

True Runner 101 is a free training program geared towards the beginning or the rededicated runner. The program is ideal for anyone that is new or just returning from an injury or layoff. For walkers, this program is excellent to help transition to running. The 8-week program will help to increase your running volume, and teach you proper running techniques through personalized coaching and group encouragement. The goal is to build a strong base by which to grow. By the end of the program, you will be prepared for a 5k race (3.1 miles). Sign-up here
Build Your Body: Supplemental Training Series Presented by True Runner - Intro Session

During race training season, True Runner is offering a supplemental training series to runners that focuses on "Build Your Body". We will emphasize on effective cross-training to reach your running goals. Our first event in the series will focus on injury prevention and care. Join True Runner, ESSMC Physical Therapy and X Shadyside Gym for circuit training and a clinic on injury prevention. Learn more here!

During race training season, True Runner is offering a supplemental training series to runners that focuses on "Build Your Body". We will emphasize on effective cross-training to reach your running goals. Our second event in the series will focus on strength training. During initial training, it is vital for runners to have a foundation of strength to allow their bodies to be strong enough to withstand the miles and miles of training.
